Naming A Cat

Cat owners often agonize over choosing the best name for a new cat. Naming a cat may not be the most important decision a cat owner may make, but it is a decision that the owner will have to live with for a considerable amount of time. There are many options for naming a cat. Cat owners can choose a human name they like or a name related to the cat’s behavior, appearance, or even breed. Some pet owners name pets after historical figures such as Amadeus or Dante or after favorite politicians or celebrities.

A cat owner may name a cat related to the cats coloring. Naming a cat by its color can be based on words that name or describe the color or objects of the same color.
